Boston Machine Knitting

Welcome!

In Oct 24′ we were gifted two flat bed knitting machines and I (Brian) been learning on them ever since. I’m by no means an expert, but I have a few sweaters under my belt, and a LOT of swatches.

What I’ve also found is the machine knitting community is sparse. Many have retired, sites are gone, links are broken. I don’t know what my goals are, but if you’re interested in machine knitting, I’d like to know!

We might start a club, classes, support network? Who knows! Fill out the form, I’ll start a mailing list.

Update! 9/30/25: There is a Machine Knitting group that meets in Salem, NH the third Saturday at the Kelly Library. It’s a free group and when I was there in September I think 12 people if not more? Great fun, people brought things to give away, really nice group. October will be a demonstration on color work, September was neck/edge finishes.
