*The morning camp is intended for our younger students, it is not a crochet or knitting class. We do not recommend booking kids 8+ for the morning maker space.
**Kids 7+ who already know how to knit or crochet are welcome to join for the afternoon.
Maker Camp with Jess will feature a fresh, creative lineup designed to spark curiosity, hands-on learning, and artistic exploration. This year’s projects mix tactile crafting, STEM thinking, and imaginative design to give kids a wide range of skills and experiences.
Projects will include:
• Turning 2D Shapes into 3D Creations – Explore how flat designs transform into dimensional objects through cutting, folding, and construction. • STEM Builds – Engage with fun problem-solving challenges that blend science, engineering, and creativity. • Macramé, Jewelry Making, and Beadwork – Learn knotting techniques and design your own wearable art and accessories. • Handmade Journals – Create personalized journals with unique covers, stitching, and decorative elements. • Room Decorations – Craft items that brighten up and customize personal spaces, from wall art to small décor pieces.
Join us for morning, afternoon, or both sessions and let your child’s creativity soar while gaining lifelong crafting skills, a sense of accomplishment, and delightful handmade treasures!

We uphold a stringent no-show policy to ensure fairness and optimal class experience for all our students. This policy is in place to minimize disruptions and financial loss, ensuring that our classes remain viable and rewarding for both students and instructors.
In the event of a no-show, you will need to rebook and pay for a new class at a time that better suits your schedule. If you arrive late, you’re welcome to join the class already in progress. However, please note that the class will end as scheduled to respect the time of students scheduled after you and the instructor. Ask your instructor about booking additional studio time to complete your class.

My 7 year old daughter is currently going through a phase where she wants to be a fashion designer. So when I found out there was a sewing studio close to home I signed her up for a class. I was a bit doubtful because she was going in with zero experience. She was nervous and told me so before I dropped her off and you could tell she was scared when she was first introduced to the teacher (I didn’t get her name). But when I picked her up, she was so happy and showed me everything she made. She was so excited and asked to go back again. I will definitely be signing her up for more camp days.

My kid has been asking for sewing lessons for so long and was SO excited to attend their first sewing session. It was everything they had hoped for. The teachers and students were incredibly welcoming and my kid was thrilled to make 3 items in their first afternoon. We will be back! Also, the booking experience was very easy and Brian was very responsive and helpful when I needed to adjust a booking. An all-round pleasant experience. Thank you!

Our daughter is so picky about camps and dislikes trying new things, so I was nervous about signing her up for sewing over February break. I shouldn’t have been! She didn’t want to leave at the end of each day and had a completed project she felt proud of. Her teachers were friendly, kind, and patient. We’d definitely return!
