Maker camp is a choose-your-own-adventure experience, where students are able to select exactly what they prefer to create!

Students are welcome to begin, (or continue creating) knit, crochet, and other art projects — Or, they’ll have the option of choosing from our project list, where an instructor will guide them through learning a new skill while creating a project.

Round out your crafting day by mixing and matching Sewing Camp with Crochet and Craft Camp!

Students of all ages are welcome to join maker camp! Each project category will have options for beginner-level, intermediate-level, and advanced-level.

Craft Project Examples:

  • Friendship Bracelets: From braiding to macrame to bracelet looms – We have so many options for cord + yarn that can be used to create colorful bracelets
  • Plant Hangers: Get ready for the warmer months by creating a hanging planter – (for a live plant, or create a faux plant
  • Flower Crowns + Room Decorations: The perfect mixed-media projects to explore seasonal creativity
  • Crochet Juggling Set: Creating spheres can be the perfect starting point for starting to crochet stuffed animals. If students are just starting out with crochet, we’ll begin to build the skills needed to start working on 3D shapes.
  • Dream Catchers: Weaving yarn within a hoop to create a dream catcher, often decorated with beads and feathers.
  • Miniature Weaving: Using a small homemade loom to weave yarn into miniature tapestries or mats.

If you’d like to book a full day of camp, please add the corresponding afternoon Sewing Camp to your cart as well!

Class Policies

We uphold a stringent no-show policy to ensure fairness and optimal class experience for all our students. If you fail to attend a class without providing the required 36-hour notice, we are unable to offer a refund or credit for the missed session. This policy is in place to minimize disruptions and financial loss, ensuring that our classes remain viable and rewarding for both students and instructors.

In the event of a no-show, you will need to rebook and pay for a new class at a time that better suits your schedule. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, but we encourage all our students to communicate any changes as early as possible to allow others the opportunity to fill the space. This not only supports our community-centric approach but also enhances the learning environment for everyone involved.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining the integrity of our class schedules and the quality of your learning experience.

We understand that delays can happen, but to ensure the quality and continuity of our classes, all students must strive to arrive on time. If you arrive late, you’re welcome to join the class already in progress. However, please note that the class will end as scheduled to respect the time of students scheduled after you and the instructor.  Ask your instructor about booking additional studio time to complete your class.

Credit Card Payments: For cancellations with adequate notice, we’ll issue a refund to your original payment method, minus a 5% processing fee.  Refunds generally take 3 to 5 business days to show in your account.

Store Credit, Coupons, Gift Certificates: Upon timely cancellation, your account will automatically be credited for future classes.

My 7 year old daughter is currently going through a phase where she wants to be a fashion designer. So when I found out there was a sewing studio close to home I signed her up for a class. I was a bit doubtful because she was going in with zero experience. She was nervous and told me so before I dropped her off and you could tell she was scared when she was first introduced to the teacher (I didn’t get her name). But when I picked her up, she was so happy and showed me everything she made. She was so excited and asked to go back again. I will definitely be signing her up for more camp days.

My kid has been asking for sewing lessons for so long and was SO excited to attend their first sewing session. It was everything they had hoped for. The teachers and students were incredibly welcoming and my kid was thrilled to make 3 items in their first afternoon. We will be back! Also, the booking experience was very easy and Brian was very responsive and helpful when I needed to adjust a booking. An all-round pleasant experience. Thank you!

Our daughter is so picky about camps and dislikes trying new things, so I was nervous about signing her up for sewing over February break. I shouldn’t have been! She didn’t want to leave at the end of each day and had a completed project she felt proud of. Her teachers were friendly, kind, and patient. We’d definitely return!
